Celebrating the Year of the Dragon at Emory University’s Lunar Banquet0

This past Saturday, Kollaboration Atlanta partnered with Emory Chinese Student Association for the 2012 Lunar Banquet in celebration of the Year of the Dragon hosted at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Set in the Ashford ballroom, around 440 students, faculty, and other guests arrived in their finest cocktail wear for an evening of traditional and contemporary performances celebrating the lunar new year. Kollaboration hosted a booth next to the ballroom entrance where guests took photos against a backdrop to join the free raffle drawing. The banquet also featured a variety of contemporary and traditional music and dance performances, including past Kollaboration performers Band Absolute and Persuasion.
During intermission, Kollaboration hosted a date auction where volunteers strutted the stage and a battle of wills broke out as people fought for the chance to win a date with the person of their affections. In the end, a total of $385 was reached!
