VIDEO Spotlight On: Yellow Boyz0

To kick off our countdown to our auditions on January 28, we’ll be chatting with previous competitors who have used their experience on Kollaboration Atlanta as a stepping stone to a larger spotlight in the mainstream media. This week, we caught up with Southern hip-hop trio Yellow Boyz and what they’ve been up to since performing at our most recent show back in March 2011.
Like American Idol, X-Factor, and America’s Got Talent, South Korean media lately has been all about the search for the next big act. The Yellow Boyz flew overseas and scored an audition for one of them called Superstar K, where they performed an original song (“Oh Nuna You”) and amused everyone from the judges to the Korean audience with their playful lyrics and catchy beats. We caught up with them recently to see what the experience was like being on Korean broadcast and what they plan on doing next (hint: new album!)
