On Saturday, June 18, Kollaboration Atlanta staff and select performers volunteered and performed at the 21st Annual Lions Club banquet held at Happy Valley restaurant in Norcross.
Hosted by Eric Lu, State Farm agent and sponsor of Kollaboration ATL 4, the leader of the local Lions Club organization succeeded in bringing together numerous community and corporate groups together for a night of awards, recognition, and entertainment over a nine-course meal provided by the dimsum and seafood restaurant.
Despite the storm, guests arrived by the dozen between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. from various organizations, including Leo Club and the Philippine Nurses Association. The Honorable Judge Gregory Adams of the Stone Mountain circuit was also in attendance as the keynote speaker. He was introduced on stage by none another than Kollaboration Atlanta’s associate director, Judy Lee.
Nerdcore rapper and 1st-place winner of Kollaboration ATL 4, Adam WarRock (Eugene Ahn), did double duty as the opening and closing performer and the night’s emcee of events. He presented various figures to the stage throughout the evening and even scored a pressure cooker during the raffle drawing!
Other performers representing Kollaboration Atlanta included vocalist Clara Hong from ATL 3, singer Joy Tolentino and guitarist Oscar Mendez, Johnny Le & The Crew, and Purple Elephant Society.
