Posts will be released in the order of the show’s program. Today’s featured competitor and 2nd place winner is the Purple Elephant Society.
We’re not sure where the group gets its name, but if it’s meant to portray rock-star symbolism with sheer size, the Purple Elephant Society definitely lives up to its name. With more than 20 members clad in shades of violet, the community-conscious dance studio performed a show-stopping choreography at our main event that meshed hard hip-hop moves, sensual grooving, and pure theatrics. It eventually landed them in 2nd place with the judges, who praised the traveling hip-hop mass for their high-quality showmanship.

In spite of being entirely volunteer-staffed, Kollaboration Atlanta has been very fortunate in attracting members who work non-stop even after the show has ended.
