Still want to contribute help in getting Japan back on its feet? Join {HEART JAPAN} at their benefit event this Saturday, April 2, at The Workspot in downtown Duluth for a silent auction and music provided by previous Kollaboration Atlanta competitors, The Fu. All proceeds will go to helping {HEART JAPAN} reach their goal of $25,000 which will be donated entirely to the disaster relief efforts in Japan.
{HEART JAPAN} is an initiative developed by “four creatives [who] decided to use their gifts and talents to respond to the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.” Though the organization is fairly new, their goal focuses on gathering communities to perpetuate awareness and support of the situation in Japan.
T-shirts and calendars with the {HEART JAPAN} logo are also on sale for $25 and $15, respectively, with 100% of all sales deposited directly into the relief fund. Contact jacob@estherjulee.com for more info on how to bring {HEART JAPAN} to your community.
Part of Kollaboration Atlanta’s mission of “Empowerment through Entertainment” entails community involvement, which is why we fully support all of our performers and their local initiatives. Kollaboration Atlanta has been involved with numerous Japan relief efforts since the disaster struck, including the happy hour with NAAAP/N3 and Music for Relief featured at our main event last Saturday.
We are proud to see The Fu, a Kollaboration Atlanta alum, do their part in supporting the cause in Japan through their local community.
