On Friday, February 11, Kollaboration Atlanta teamed up with the Emory Chinese Student Association to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit at Emory’s 2011 Lunar Banquet. The event was held at the illustrious Fox Theatre, which was decorated in red for the new lunar year. Our very own Kollab ATL 3 grand prize winner, Lost in the Gym, and second place winners, TNT and Persuasion, gave amazing performances at the event.
To get into the Valentine’s Day mood, our staff members, Emory volunteers, and members from Lost in the Gym, TNT, and Persuasion stepped up to the plate and were sold in a date auction that took place during the intermission. With romance in the air, our volunteers raised over $800! Proceeds from the date auction were donated to both Kollaboration Atlanta and the Chinese Red Cross. Thank you to our volunteers and performers for their dedication! We hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day!
