Wong Fu Productions Comes to Atlanta0

The up-and-coming trio of Wong Fu Productions came to Atlanta this past week, as part of their autumn college tour 2010.
Wong Fu Productions is an independent production company managed by three entrepreneurial UCSD graduates—Philip Wang, Wesley Chan and Ted Fu. They create short films, music videos, vlogs and also design t-shirts. Wong Fu is most popular on YouTube where more than 400,000 subscribers watch their videos.
Kollaboration Atlanta staff members visited Wong Fu’s informational session organized by Emory University’s S.A.A.A.C (Students in Alliance for Asian American Concerns). Following a casual introduction of the three artists, the event showcased some of Wong Fu’s previous works as well as the unreleased preview of “Agents of Secret Stuff” mini-movie featuring the YouTube star, Ryan Higa.
The Wong Fu Productions group is a fervent supporter of Asian American talent and has worked with numerous Kollaboration performers such as David Choi (on his music video) and Far*East Movement (on the International Secret Agents concert).
The three Asian-American artists began as modest filmmakers in college back in 2003. They, too, have hopes of making it big in the mainstream through their creative productions. Here is Wong Fu’s shout-out to Kollaboration Atlanta fans!
